Our Mission History
Mission History of Charisma’s Heart
Charisma’s Heart was founded in Spring 2024 by Charisma Hall, a woman who transformed her personal story of oppression and abuse into a powerful mission to uplift other women and children facing similar challenges. Her vision was born out of her own journey of transformation, sanctification, edification, discovery, and purification—a process that deepened her understanding of the need for a strong support system for women in transition.
Charisma’s Heart began with a singular focus: to create an environment where women and their children could find refuge, stability, and hope. The organization is dedicated to helping women escape the cycles of domestic violence, navigate life after divorce, and transition into new lives with dignity. Charisma knew firsthand the struggles of starting over and wanted to offer the support she lacked—a support system that would provide not just temporary relief but long-term empowerment.
Since its inception, Charisma’s Heart has committed itself to creating an in-house community of care, offering comprehensive services including safe housing, childcare, job training, medical care, and legal assistance. Through the leadership of Charisma Hall, the project management skills of Ashley Wade, and the legal guidance of Rikisha Dionne Thomas, Charisma’s Heart has become a beacon of hope for mothers and children seeking a new beginning, helping them rebuild their lives, one step at a time.
Our mission is to ensure that no woman has to navigate the path to recovery and independence alone. With love, support, and practical resources, Charisma’s Heart stands as a sanctuary for those in need, dedicated to fostering healing and growth for generations to come.
