Attorney, mother, and advocate, Rikisha Dionne Thomas brings legal insight, faith-driven leadership, and a deep commitment to supporting women and families through life transitions.
President / CEO / CFO
As the founder and CEO of Charisma’s Heart, Charisma Hall has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s mission to support women and children through life’s most difficult transitions. Inspired by her own experiences of overcoming domestic violence and rebuilding after divorce, Charisma recognized the urgent need for safe, stable support systems for women and families navigating trauma, instability, and major life change.
Under her leadership, Charisma’s Heart has grown into a mission-driven organization centered on healing, empowerment, and restoration. Her vision extends beyond temporary support — she is committed to building programs that help women and children rebuild their lives with dignity, confidence, and access to meaningful guidance and community-centered care.
In addition to her work with Charisma’s Heart, Charisma serves as a Curriculum Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine. She brings a multidisciplinary background in instructional design, human resources, and media coordination — all of which contribute to the thoughtful development of the organization’s programs and outreach.
Charisma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from California State University, Fullerton. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, dancing, and practicing improv.
Vice President & Chief Legal Officer
Rikisha Dionne Thomas serves as the Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Charisma’s Heart. She is also the founder of the Law Office of Rikisha D. Thomas, based in Los Angeles, California. Before relocating to Los Angeles, she earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. Originally from Albany, New York, Rikisha’s journey to California reflects the same faith, perseverance, and courage that now shape her service to others.
As a mother of three, Rikisha understands firsthand the weight of responsibility, sacrifice, and resilience that so many women carry. Her life experiences have deepened her passion for helping mothers who may be navigating transition without the support systems they need. She knows what it means to start over, and that perspective brings both empathy and purpose to her work with Charisma’s Heart.
Rikisha is especially passionate about helping women pursue their goals while still caring for their children and protecting their families. Her commitment to Charisma’s Heart is grounded in a desire to help ensure women have access to the support, stability, and opportunities they need to move forward.
Through her leadership, Rikisha contributes legal insight, advocacy, and a strong commitment to the organization’s mission of helping women and children become mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially whole.
Secretary
Maryika Stubbs is a dynamic communications professional, entrepreneur, and creative leader who brings strategy, vision, and storytelling excellence to Charisma’s Heart. Based in Albany, New York, she is a model, influencer, and strategic communications consultant with a passion for helping organizations shape meaningful narratives and build lasting impact.
A native of Albany, Maryika earned her Master of Arts in Organizational Communications from the University at Albany. Over the past decade, she has developed expertise across strategic communications, development, organizational strategy, grant writing, project management, research, copywriting, editing, and program development.
As an entrepreneur and consultant, Maryika has dedicated herself to helping businesses, startups, and nonprofit organizations secure funding, build partnerships, and position themselves for sustainable growth. Her work is rooted in thoughtful strategy and tailored solutions — whether she is developing messaging, improving operations, or supporting mission-driven initiatives.
In addition to her consulting work, Maryika is a highly sought-after entertainer and creative professional. She has hosted major events across Upstate New York and has been featured in digital fashion publications as well as PhotoVogue by Vogue Magazine. At Charisma’s Heart, she brings a valuable blend of communications expertise, innovation, and strategic insight.
