As the founder and CEO of Charisma’s Heart, Charisma Hall has been instrumental in establishing the nonprofit’s mission to provide temporary housing and support services to low-income women and children. Drawing from her own experiences of overcoming domestic violence and navigating life after divorce, Charisma recognized the critical need for safe, stable housing and compassionate care for those undergoing similar transitions.
Under her leadership, Charisma’s Heart has grown into a beacon of hope for women and children facing housing insecurity. Charisma has been at the forefront of developing and implementing programs that not only offer temporary shelter but also provide holistic support, including access to educational resources, counseling, and community integration services. Her vision for Charisma’s Heart is to empower women and children to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence, offering them the tools and support they need to achieve long-term stability.
In addition to her role at Charisma’s Heart, Charisma brings a wealth of experience from her work as a Curriculum Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine. Her diverse background in instructional design, human resources, and media coordination has been vital in shaping the comprehensive support services offered by Charisma’s Heart. Through her dedicated leadership, Charisma continues to expand the organization’s reach and impact, making a tangible difference in the lives of those most vulnerable in her community.
Charisma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from California State University, Fullerton. She is currently preparing for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam, with the goal of passing by the end of the year. Outside of her professional endeavors, Charisma enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, dancing, and practicing improv—an unseen talent she cherishes.
